A tiny pixel art maker for the Tomodachi community
Tomodachi Pixel Art Maker is a free, fan-made browser tool for drawing cute 32×32 chibi avatars — no sign-up, no installs, nothing leaves your device.
What the tool does
The maker gives you a 32×32 pixel canvas with a pencil, eraser, fill bucket and mirror mode. Not sure where to start? The one-click randomizer rolls a complete chibi character — hair, eyes, outfit and skin tone — that you can refine pixel by pixel. When you're happy, export a crisp 512×512 PNG with a transparent background, sized for Discord, forums, streaming avatars or your own game project.
Prefer a starting point over a blank grid? The template library has 26 hand-made starters — chibi character bases, big-expression faces, foods and items — each with its own page showing the full pixel map and palette.
Why we built it
We love the cozy, lookalike-character charm of Tomodachi Life, and we wanted a dead-simple way for fans to make their own island residents as pixel art. Existing editors are either heavyweight general-purpose tools or bury you in options. This one does a single thing: get you from zero to a cute 32×32 character in minutes, right in the browser.
Privacy-first by design
There are no accounts, no uploads and no server-side storage. Everything you draw auto-saves to your own device via local storage, and exports happen locally in your browser. The site collects only minimal, anonymous traffic statistics — the full details are in the privacy policy.
